Carey is a former top fashion model who stands at almost 5'10" she was a favorite of American designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her father, who was a renowned scientist, who was awarded the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists 1979 Scientist of the Year prize, is a renowned scientist. As a result of his career Carey grew up all around the world. While she was at in the University of Colorado at part-time and was able to catch the attention of the Ford model Agency representative in New York.
