Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die manufacturer who had previously been employed as a worker in an industrial company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten when she was five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. Winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to take on a job as a model. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. Then, she relocated into Europe and spent an entire year living in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone however became disillusioned in Europe with the modelling industry and opted to go into acting. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise at the age of 20.
