Marilu Henner shows us what an individual woman can do through the force and wisdom that comes from having a teenaged mind. She is an author, health guru presenter, talk show host and producer. Also, a dancer and director. Comedienne and model. Most importantly, she's an adoring mom and wife! Perpetual Motion should be her moniker. Marilu's story is a testament to her health-conscious method of living. She believes that when you're in healthy health, you are able to do everything. But it wasn't always that way. As she entered her teenage years the girl began her do a yo-yo diet, and saw her weight increase. Her emotional eating made her be sick and unwell most of the time. She knew that when her parents were dying in their forties, her mother of ailments caused by arthritis and her father from cardiac arrest--that she needed to remain vigilant about her well-being. The focus was not on diets, but about finding the most effective way to improve the body's functions.
